Attack in Ayodhya to Incite Communal Riots

New Delhi, July 05, 2005

Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind severely condemning the attack on Babri Masjid complex described it as a deliberate attempt to disturb communal harmony.  Since this case is sub-judice no one has the right to take law into his own hands. It is a highly despicable act. Maulana As’ad Madani, president of JUH called it a mischievous act and demanded high-level inquiry into the incident. He also said that some anti social elements did not like to see communal harmony between Hindus and Muslims and they want to create hatred and animosity. He cautioned this incident might turn into a Godhra like situation and result into large-scale communal riots. The common men of this country have rejected the communal forces. They are likely to make desperate attempt to stage comeback. He has appealed to all peace loving citizens of this country to maintain peace and communal amity and not succumb to the conspiracy hatched by the anti social elements.
